The Savage Opress Lightsaber is a formidable replica of the deadly double-bladed weapon wielded by the fearsome Sith apprentice in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. This imposing hilt features a sleek metallic silver and black design with aggressive angular lines and ridged grips, enhancing both aesthetics and handling. The dual emitters are accentuated by curved, claw-like extensions, reinforcing the saber’s menacing presence on the battlefield. Built for power and dominance, this lightsaber is perfect for those who embrace an aggressive combat style.

Equipped with RGB-X electronics, this lightsaber offers an immersive duelling experience with a range of features. The baselit blade provides vibrant illumination with multiple colour options, though it is best suited for dark environments as its light comes solely from the emitter. Designed for heavy duelling, the durable construction ensures it can withstand intense combat. The saber includes 16 pre-installed sound fonts, smooth swing motion detection, flash-on-clash effects, and gesture-based controls. While already equipped with such great features, it also supports Bluetooth connectivity, allowing users to access settings more easily and upload extra sound fonts via the “XenoConfigurator” app on iOS and Android.

History

Savage Opress, the apprentice of Count Dooku and later a Sith warrior under his brother Darth Maul, wielded this deadly double-bladed lightsaber during the Clone Wars. A fearsome force of destruction, Savage used his weapon in brutal combat, cutting down Jedi and battling Republic forces as he sought revenge against those who wronged him. The weapon’s design mirrored elements of Darth Maul’s own saberstaff while maintaining a unique and imposing appearance fitting of its wielder.

This lightsaber was used in several key battles, including Savage’s confrontations with Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and even his master, Count Dooku. It symbolised his raw power, brute strength, and the chaos he unleashed across the galaxy. The Savage Opress Lightsaber allows fans to wield a weapon forged for dominance, embodying the destructive force of one of the Clone Wars’ most feared Sith warriors.

What’s the difference between the lightsaber versions?

There are 5 main types of lightsaber electronics:

  • RGB-X & S-RGB – These sabers illuminate the blade from the hilt and are built for durability, making them ideal for heavy-duelling. They come with a Baselit blade, which has no LEDs inside and looks best in dark environments.
  • Xenopixel V3 & SNV4 PRO – These lightsabers use Neopixel blades, which contain LEDs throughout the blade for brighter and more vibrant effects. They are not designed for heavy-duelling, but offer advanced visual effects and customisation.
  • Proffie 2.2 – A highly customisable lightsaber that also comes with a Neopixel blade. It allows advanced users to modify sound fonts, blade effects, ignition styles, and more through open-source software, making it ideal for those who want full control over their lightsaber’s performance.
Can you duel with the lightsabers?
  • RGB-X & S-RGB sabers with Baselit blades are designed for heavy-duelling.
  • Xenopixel, SNV4 PRO, and Proffie 2.2 sabers with Neopixel blades are best suited for showcase and light-duelling but should not be used for intense combat.

For heavy-duelling, we recommend going with a thick neck saber so the blade is better supported and less likely to become wobbly or snap.

Are Saber 66 Lightsabers and helmets replicas?

No – our lightsabers and helmets are in no way intended to be replicas. Size, materials, colours and design details are all inspired by officially licensed sabers, but they are not replicas.

Do the lightsabers support Bluetooth connectivity?
  • RGB-X and Xenopixel V3 support Bluetooth connectivity via the “XenoConfigurator” app on iOS and Android.
  • S-RGB and SNV4 PRO support Bluetooth connectivity via the “ForcePark V2” app on iOS and Android.
  • Proffie 2.2 does not have built-in Bluetooth functionality.
Do you offer a warranty on lightsabers?

Yes, all lightsabers come with a 1-year warranty, covering manufacturing defects and electronic malfunctions. If you encounter any issues within this period, please contact our support team for assistance. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, modifications, or improper charging.

Do you offer replacement parts?

Yes, replacement blades, chargers, and other accessories are available for purchase separately. If there is a more specific part that needs changing, please contact out support team for assistance.

How do I recharge my lightsaber?

All lightsabers come with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery and a USB charging cable. It is recommended to use the provided charger and follow the charging instructions in the manual to prevent damage.
