The Exposed Kyber Crystal Lightsaber with LED Display is a striking fusion of innovation and style. Designed for collectors and duelists who crave something truly unique, this saber boasts a prominent exposed crystal chamber paired with a fully functional LED display built directly into the hilt. The LED panel is customizable via SD card, allowing users to upload animations, symbols, or text for a personal touch. Its sleek metallic profile, accented with black segments, offers a sophisticated sci-fi aesthetic that looks incredible on display and feels solid in hand.

Equipped with Xenopixel V3 electronics, this lightsaber includes a Neopixel blade, making it perfect for showcase and light duelling but not for heavy duelling. The 144-LED strip within the blade delivers vibrant illumination, realistic ignition effects, and dynamic blade styles. Additional features include 34 pre-installed sound fonts, smooth swing motion detection, multiple ignition modes, gesture controls, and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. It also supports Bluetooth connectivity for customisation via the “XenoConfigurator” app on iOS and Android.

History

While not based on any specific character from the Star Wars canon, the Exposed Kyber Crystal Lightsaber draws inspiration from the idea of sabers forged by maverick Force users—those who prioritize function and flair over tradition. The exposed kyber crystal, typically hidden within the core of a hilt, symbolizes a deeper connection to the Force, openly displaying the power source that fuels every swing. Sabers like this are imagined to be carried by force-wielders who experiment with design and technology, blending ancient methods with cutting-edge innovation to forge their identity.

The addition of an LED display on the hilt suggests an even more modern vision—a future where lightsabers evolve with their users. Whether used to signal messages, display emblems, or reflect the emotional state of its wielder, the screen turns this saber into a storytelling device. In lore-inspired communities and cosplay settings, sabers like this are imagined to belong to elite operatives or rogue Jedi who walk the line between light and dark, embracing both tradition and invention. This design stands as a tribute to the endless creativity within lightsaber crafting, offering a weapon that’s as expressive as it is powerful.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between the lightsaber versions?

There are 5 main types of lightsaber electronics:

  • RGB-X & S-RGB – These sabers illuminate the blade from the hilt and are built for durability, making them ideal for heavy-duelling. They come with a Baselit blade, which has no LEDs inside and looks best in dark environments.
  • Xenopixel V3 & SNV4 PRO – These lightsabers use Neopixel blades, which contain LEDs throughout the blade for brighter and more vibrant effects. They are not designed for heavy-duelling, but offer advanced visual effects and customisation.
  • Proffie 2.2 – A highly customisable lightsaber that also comes with a Neopixel blade. It allows advanced users to modify sound fonts, blade effects, ignition styles, and more through open-source software, making it ideal for those who want full control over their lightsaber’s performance.
Can you duel with the lightsabers?
  • RGB-X & S-RGB sabers with Baselit blades are designed for heavy-duelling.
  • Xenopixel, SNV4 PRO, and Proffie 2.2 sabers with Neopixel blades are best suited for showcase and light-duelling but should not be used for intense combat.

For heavy-duelling, we recommend going with a thick neck saber so the blade is better supported and less likely to become wobbly or snap.

Are Saber 66 Lightsabers and helmets replicas?

No – our lightsabers and helmets are in no way intended to be replicas. Size, materials, colours and design details are all inspired by officially licensed sabers, but they are not replicas.

Do the lightsabers support Bluetooth connectivity?
  • RGB-X and Xenopixel V3 support Bluetooth connectivity via the “XenoConfigurator” app on iOS and Android.
  • S-RGB and SNV4 PRO support Bluetooth connectivity via the “ForcePark V2” app on iOS and Android.
  • Proffie 2.2 does not have built-in Bluetooth functionality.
Do you offer a warranty on lightsabers?

Yes, all lightsabers come with a 1-year warranty, covering manufacturing defects and electronic malfunctions. If you encounter any issues within this period, please contact our support team for assistance. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, modifications, or improper charging.

Do you offer replacement parts?

Yes, replacement blades, chargers, and other accessories are available for purchase separately. If there is a more specific part that needs changing, please contact out support team for assistance.

How do I recharge my lightsaber?

All lightsabers come with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery and a USB charging cable. It is recommended to use the provided charger and follow the charging instructions in the manual to prevent damage.
