The Luke Skywalker EP6 V2 Lightsaber is a streamlined version of the iconic weapon wielded by Luke Skywalker in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. While based on the classic replica design, this V2 model is a more budget-friendly interpretation, maintaining the overall aesthetic while simplifying certain elements. The signature control box remains intact, preserving the look and feel of the original hilt, while the polished aluminium construction ensures durability and lightweight handling. The hilt features a black ribbed grip section for enhanced comfort and control.
Equipped with Xenopixel V3 electronics, this lightsaber features a Neopixel blade, designed for showcase and light duelling, but never for heavy duelling. It offers a full spectrum of customisable colours and comes preloaded with 34 immersive sound fonts, ensuring an authentic and dynamic experience. Additional features include smooth swing motion detection, flash-on-clash effects, multiple ignition and blade styles, gesture controls, and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery for extended use. The Bluetooth connectivity allows for easy customisation via the “XenoConfigurator” app, available on iOS and Android.
History
Luke Skywalker’s lightsaber in Return of the Jedi is one of the most legendary weapons in the Star Wars saga. After losing his father’s lightsaber in The Empire Strikes Back, Luke constructed his own weapon, inspired by Obi-Wan Kenobi’s hilt design. This saber became a symbol of his growth as a Jedi, first igniting it in Jabba the Hutt’s palace and later wielding it in his climactic duel against Darth Vader aboard the second Death Star.
