This Count Dooku Jedi SE (Special Edition) Lightsaber is a striking vision of what the famed Jedi’s weapon might have looked like before his fall to the dark side. Unlike his Sith counterpart, this version showcases a more streamlined and clean design, with a refined metallic finish and golden accents that speak to his noble origins. The elegant emitter claw remains, but the overall design is less aggressive—suggesting a saber built for grace and precision, rather than intimidation. The ergonomic hilt is designed for controlled one-handed combat, ideal for masters of Form II, Makashi.
Equipped with Proffie 2.2 electronics, this set offers deep customisation, allowing users to modify sound fonts, ignition effects, and blade animations for a personalised experience. This edition includes Neopixel blades, delivering ultra-bright illumination and dynamic effects such as scrolling ignition, flickering blade modes, and smooth colour transitions. Each hilt features smooth-swing motion tracking, flash-on-clash effects, and an immersive sound system that enhances every movement. With high-quality materials and precision engineering, this collection is designed for those who appreciate both authenticity and advanced technology.
History
Before becoming Darth Tyranus, Count Dooku was a celebrated Jedi Master trained by Yoda himself. Known for his elegance, intellect, and mastery of Makashi, he grew disillusioned with the Jedi Order’s increasing alignment with politics and its failures during galactic conflicts. During this time, his lightsaber reflected his refined nature—a weapon of beauty and balance, representing the old Jedi ideals.
The Jedi SE version of his lightsaber imagines what Dooku might have carried during his time on the Jedi Council, before he renounced the Order. It is a symbol of lost potential and the philosophical rift that led him to the dark side. This saber captures the duality of Dooku’s legacy—one of nobility corrupted by disillusionment.
