The Rey Skywalker SE Lightsaber – Proffie 2.2 is a meticulously crafted replica that embodies the resilience and ingenuity of its namesake. The hilt is constructed from high-quality materials, featuring a blocky and heavy design with exterior armour that makes it resistant to impact and wear and tear. A cloth handgrip ensures a comfortable hold, reflecting Rey’s practical and resourceful nature.

At its core lies the advanced Proffie 2.2 soundboard, renowned for its extensive customisation capabilities. Enthusiasts can personalise various aspects, including sound effects, blade lighting effects, motion responses, and a vast array of blade colours. The saber comes pre-installed with 25 unique sound fonts, each offering distinct auditory experiences to enhance immersion. The Proffie 2.2 electronics are made for real lightsaber enthusiasts to experience the possibility of customising everything, starting from sound fonts and ending with ignitions and blade colours!

The Neopixel blade delivers a vibrant and dynamic display, with colours adjustable to match personal preferences. Additional features include smooth swing technology for realistic sound modulation, flash-on-clash effects to simulate combat impacts, multiple ignition modes, and gesture controls for intuitive operation. A rechargeable lithium-ion battery ensures prolonged use, and the inclusion of a 32GB SD card allows for the addition of new sound fonts and effects, further enhancing the saber’s versatility.

History

Following the First Order-Resistance War, Rey Skywalker constructed her own unique lightsaber, marking her growth and independence as a Jedi. She built it using salvaged materials from her quarterstaff, resulting in a weapon that was both personal and practical. The hilt’s design reflects her journey, combining elements of her past with her commitment to the Jedi path.

The yellow blade of Rey’s lightsaber is significant, as yellow sabers are traditionally associated with Jedi Sentinels, who sought balance between the Consulars (strong with the Force) and Guardians (skilled in battle). This choice symbolises Rey’s unique position within the Jedi Order, embodying both wisdom and combat prowess.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between the lightsaber versions?

There are 5 main types of lightsaber electronics:

  • RGB-X & S-RGB – These sabers illuminate the blade from the hilt and are built for durability, making them ideal for heavy-duelling. They come with a Baselit blade, which has no LEDs inside and looks best in dark environments.
  • Xenopixel V3 & SNV4 PRO – These lightsabers use Neopixel blades, which contain LEDs throughout the blade for brighter and more vibrant effects. They are not designed for heavy-duelling, but offer advanced visual effects and customisation.
  • Proffie 2.2 – A highly customisable lightsaber that also comes with a Neopixel blade. It allows advanced users to modify sound fonts, blade effects, ignition styles, and more through open-source software, making it ideal for those who want full control over their lightsaber’s performance.
Can you duel with the lightsabers?
  • RGB-X & S-RGB sabers with Baselit blades are designed for heavy-duelling.
  • Xenopixel, SNV4 PRO, and Proffie 2.2 sabers with Neopixel blades are best suited for showcase and light-duelling but should not be used for intense combat.

For heavy-duelling, we recommend going with a thick neck saber so the blade is better supported and less likely to become wobbly or snap.

Are Saber 66 Lightsabers and helmets replicas?

No – our lightsabers and helmets are in no way intended to be replicas. Size, materials, colours and design details are all inspired by officially licensed sabers, but they are not replicas.

Do the lightsabers support Bluetooth connectivity?
  • RGB-X and Xenopixel V3 support Bluetooth connectivity via the “XenoConfigurator” app on iOS and Android.
  • S-RGB and SNV4 PRO support Bluetooth connectivity via the “ForcePark V2” app on iOS and Android.
  • Proffie 2.2 does not have built-in Bluetooth functionality.
Do you offer a warranty on lightsabers?

Yes, all lightsabers come with a 1-year warranty, covering manufacturing defects and electronic malfunctions. If you encounter any issues within this period, please contact our support team for assistance. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, modifications, or improper charging.

Do you offer replacement parts?

Yes, replacement blades, chargers, and other accessories are available for purchase separately. If there is a more specific part that needs changing, please contact out support team for assistance.

How do I recharge my lightsaber?

All lightsabers come with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery and a USB charging cable. It is recommended to use the provided charger and follow the charging instructions in the manual to prevent damage.
