The Grogu Lightsaber is a uniquely crafted, character-inspired piece that blends elegance with playful design. Drawing inspiration from Grogu’s iconic appearance in The Mandalorian, this lightsaber features elements reminiscent of his aesthetic—such as the green accent near the emitter, gold and silver tones representing his robe and collar, and a striking pommel modelled after his floating pod. The grip features both ribbed and smooth sections for comfort and control, making it not only a collector’s item but also a practical duelling weapon.

Equipped with Xenopixel V3 electronics, this lightsaber includes a Neopixel blade, making it perfect for showcase and light duelling but not for heavy duelling. The 144-LED strip within the blade delivers vibrant illumination, realistic ignition effects, and dynamic blade styles. Additional features include 34 pre-installed sound fonts, smooth swing motion detection, multiple ignition modes, gesture controls, and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. It also supports Bluetooth connectivity for customisation via the “XenoConfigurator” app on iOS and Android.

History

Although Grogu has never wielded a lightsaber in Star Wars canon, this design imagines what such a weapon might look like if the young Force-sensitive ever chose the path of the Jedi. Every detail of the hilt, from the ear-shaped notches on the emitter to the white and red-striped pommel referencing his hover pod, was thoughtfully chosen to honour his character’s visual and emotional presence in The Mandalorian.

This lightsaber stands as a fan-crafted tribute to Grogu’s potential and symbolic connection to the Force. Rather than replicating something from existing films or series, it blends aesthetic homage with imaginative design. The Grogu Lightsaber is a celebration of creativity and what-if storytelling, making it a truly special piece for collectors and fans alike.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between the lightsaber versions?

There are 5 main types of lightsaber electronics:

  • RGB-X & S-RGB – These sabers illuminate the blade from the hilt and are built for durability, making them ideal for heavy-duelling. They come with a Baselit blade, which has no LEDs inside and looks best in dark environments.
  • Xenopixel V3 & SNV4 PRO – These lightsabers use Neopixel blades, which contain LEDs throughout the blade for brighter and more vibrant effects. They are not designed for heavy-duelling, but offer advanced visual effects and customisation.
  • Proffie 2.2 – A highly customisable lightsaber that also comes with a Neopixel blade. It allows advanced users to modify sound fonts, blade effects, ignition styles, and more through open-source software, making it ideal for those who want full control over their lightsaber’s performance.
Can you duel with the lightsabers?
  • RGB-X & S-RGB sabers with Baselit blades are designed for heavy-duelling.
  • Xenopixel, SNV4 PRO, and Proffie 2.2 sabers with Neopixel blades are best suited for showcase and light-duelling but should not be used for intense combat.

For heavy-duelling, we recommend going with a thick neck saber so the blade is better supported and less likely to become wobbly or snap.

Are Saber 66 Lightsabers and helmets replicas?

No – our lightsabers and helmets are in no way intended to be replicas. Size, materials, colours and design details are all inspired by officially licensed sabers, but they are not replicas.

Do the lightsabers support Bluetooth connectivity?
  • RGB-X and Xenopixel V3 support Bluetooth connectivity via the “XenoConfigurator” app on iOS and Android.
  • S-RGB and SNV4 PRO support Bluetooth connectivity via the “ForcePark V2” app on iOS and Android.
  • Proffie 2.2 does not have built-in Bluetooth functionality.
Do you offer a warranty on lightsabers?

Yes, all lightsabers come with a 1-year warranty, covering manufacturing defects and electronic malfunctions. If you encounter any issues within this period, please contact our support team for assistance. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, modifications, or improper charging.

Do you offer replacement parts?

Yes, replacement blades, chargers, and other accessories are available for purchase separately. If there is a more specific part that needs changing, please contact out support team for assistance.

How do I recharge my lightsaber?

All lightsabers come with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery and a USB charging cable. It is recommended to use the provided charger and follow the charging instructions in the manual to prevent damage.
