The Obi-Wan Kenobi EP1 Lightsaber is a finely crafted replica model inspired by its appearance in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. This sleek weapon features a polished silver and black hilt, accented with a red activation switch and gold detailing, capturing the refined aesthetics of a Jedi’s blade.

Equipped with Xenopixel V3 technology, this saber features a high-quality Neopixel blade with a 144-LED strip, offering vivid illumination and realistic effects. It includes 34 pre-installed sound fonts, smooth swing functionality, gesture controls, and multiple ignition styles for a customizable experience. The “XenoConfigurator” app enables users to adjust blade colors, sound profiles, and effects. As with all Neopixel sabers, the blade is designed for showcase and light duelling but is not intended for heavy duelling.

History

This lightsaber was wielded by Obi-Wan Kenobi during his time as a Jedi Padawan under the mentorship of Qui-Gon Jinn. As a symbol of his early training and dedication to the Jedi Order, the weapon was instrumental in shaping Obi-Wan’s combat style and discipline.

In The Phantom Menace, Obi-Wan used this lightsaber in his duel against Darth Maul, where he ultimately avenged his fallen master. However, the saber was lost when Darth Maul kicked it into a reactor shaft, prompting Obi-Wan to construct a new one following his ascension to Jedi Knight. This defining moment set him on the path to becoming one of the greatest Jedi in history.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between the lightsaber versions?

There are 5 main types of lightsaber electronics:

  • RGB-X & S-RGB – These sabers illuminate the blade from the hilt and are built for durability, making them ideal for heavy-duelling. They come with a Baselit blade, which has no LEDs inside and looks best in dark environments.
  • Xenopixel V3 & SNV4 PRO – These lightsabers use Neopixel blades, which contain LEDs throughout the blade for brighter and more vibrant effects. They are not designed for heavy-duelling, but offer advanced visual effects and customisation.
  • Proffie 2.2 – A highly customisable lightsaber that also comes with a Neopixel blade. It allows advanced users to modify sound fonts, blade effects, ignition styles, and more through open-source software, making it ideal for those who want full control over their lightsaber’s performance.
Can you duel with the lightsabers?
  • RGB-X & S-RGB sabers with Baselit blades are designed for heavy-duelling.
  • Xenopixel, SNV4 PRO, and Proffie 2.2 sabers with Neopixel blades are best suited for showcase and light-duelling but should not be used for intense combat.

For heavy-duelling, we recommend going with a thick neck saber so the blade is better supported and less likely to become wobbly or snap.

Are Saber 66 Lightsabers and helmets replicas?

No – our lightsabers and helmets are in no way intended to be replicas. Size, materials, colours and design details are all inspired by officially licensed sabers, but they are not replicas.

Do the lightsabers support Bluetooth connectivity?
  • RGB-X and Xenopixel V3 support Bluetooth connectivity via the “XenoConfigurator” app on iOS and Android.
  • S-RGB and SNV4 PRO support Bluetooth connectivity via the “ForcePark V2” app on iOS and Android.
  • Proffie 2.2 does not have built-in Bluetooth functionality.
Do you offer a warranty on lightsabers?

Yes, all lightsabers come with a 1-year warranty, covering manufacturing defects and electronic malfunctions. If you encounter any issues within this period, please contact our support team for assistance. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, modifications, or improper charging.

Do you offer replacement parts?

Yes, replacement blades, chargers, and other accessories are available for purchase separately. If there is a more specific part that needs changing, please contact out support team for assistance.

How do I recharge my lightsaber?

All lightsabers come with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery and a USB charging cable. It is recommended to use the provided charger and follow the charging instructions in the manual to prevent damage.
