The Ren Crossguard V2 Lightsaber is a bold and aggressive design, perfect for those seeking a powerful and commanding weapon. Unlike traditional hilts, this saber features a reinforced crossguard design, with two smaller side emitters that channel raw energy for a striking visual effect. The black anodised aluminium hilt is crafted with deep grooves for a firm grip, ensuring stability and control during intense duelling. The menacing aesthetic of this saber makes it an excellent choice for warriors looking to dominate the battlefield.

Equipped with Xenopixel V3 electronics, this lightsaber features a Neopixel blade capable of displaying a full spectrum of customisable colours, allowing users to bring the crimson glow of the Sith to life. It includes 34 pre-installed sound fonts, smooth swing motion detection, flash-on-clash effects, multiple ignition and blade effects, gesture controls, and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Bluetooth connectivity enables users to fine-tune their settings via the “XenoConfigurator” app on iOS and Android, offering full customisation of sound and blade profiles.

History

The crossguard lightsaber is a design with ancient origins, once wielded by Sith warriors from long-forgotten eras. The Ren Crossguard V2, while not a replica of any specific saber in the Star Wars universe, embraces the same brutal energy-focused structure seen in battle-scarred weapons of the past. Unlike the crude and unstable iterations seen in history, this modernised version refines the crossguard design into a durable and reliable combat saber.

With its imposing design and heavy-duty build, the Ren Crossguard V2 Lightsaber is perfect for those who seek both style and performance. Whether for cosplay, collection, or duelling, this lightsaber delivers an experience that blends ancient inspiration with modern craftsmanship.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between the lightsaber versions?

There are 5 main types of lightsaber electronics:

  • RGB-X & S-RGB – These sabers illuminate the blade from the hilt and are built for durability, making them ideal for heavy-duelling. They come with a Baselit blade, which has no LEDs inside and looks best in dark environments.
  • Xenopixel V3 & SNV4 PRO – These lightsabers use Neopixel blades, which contain LEDs throughout the blade for brighter and more vibrant effects. They are not designed for heavy-duelling, but offer advanced visual effects and customisation.
  • Proffie 2.2 – A highly customisable lightsaber that also comes with a Neopixel blade. It allows advanced users to modify sound fonts, blade effects, ignition styles, and more through open-source software, making it ideal for those who want full control over their lightsaber’s performance.
Can you duel with the lightsabers?
  • RGB-X & S-RGB sabers with Baselit blades are designed for heavy-duelling.
  • Xenopixel, SNV4 PRO, and Proffie 2.2 sabers with Neopixel blades are best suited for showcase and light-duelling but should not be used for intense combat.

For heavy-duelling, we recommend going with a thick neck saber so the blade is better supported and less likely to become wobbly or snap.

Are Saber 66 Lightsabers and helmets replicas?

No – our lightsabers and helmets are in no way intended to be replicas. Size, materials, colours and design details are all inspired by officially licensed sabers, but they are not replicas.

Do the lightsabers support Bluetooth connectivity?
  • RGB-X and Xenopixel V3 support Bluetooth connectivity via the “XenoConfigurator” app on iOS and Android.
  • S-RGB and SNV4 PRO support Bluetooth connectivity via the “ForcePark V2” app on iOS and Android.
  • Proffie 2.2 does not have built-in Bluetooth functionality.
Do you offer a warranty on lightsabers?

Yes, all lightsabers come with a 1-year warranty, covering manufacturing defects and electronic malfunctions. If you encounter any issues within this period, please contact our support team for assistance. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, modifications, or improper charging.

Do you offer replacement parts?

Yes, replacement blades, chargers, and other accessories are available for purchase separately. If there is a more specific part that needs changing, please contact out support team for assistance.

How do I recharge my lightsaber?

All lightsabers come with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery and a USB charging cable. It is recommended to use the provided charger and follow the charging instructions in the manual to prevent damage.
