History
This saber represents the first lightsaber used by Luke Skywalker—originally constructed by his father, Anakin Skywalker, and passed down by Obi-Wan Kenobi. In Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, Luke uses this saber during his training on Dagobah and in the climactic duel against Darth Vader on Cloud City, where he learns the devastating truth about his heritage.
