The Starkiller V2 Lightsaber is a replica model inspired by the weapon wielded by Galen Marek, also known as Starkiller, in the Star Wars: The Force Unleashed video game series. Featuring an intricate exposed kyber crystal chamber and a design that blends both Jedi and Sith aesthetics, this saber is a true representation of Starkiller’s internal conflict between the light and dark sides of the Force.
Equipped with Xenopixel V3 electronics, this lightsaber features a Neopixel blade, designed for showcase and light duelling, but never for heavy duelling. It offers a full spectrum of customisable colours and comes preloaded with 34 immersive sound fonts, ensuring an authentic and dynamic experience. Additional features include smooth swing motion detection, flash-on-clash effects, multiple ignition and blade styles, gesture controls, and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery for extended use. The Bluetooth connectivity allows for easy customisation via the “XenoConfigurator” app, available on iOS and Android.
History
Galen Marek, better known as Starkiller, was the secret apprentice of Darth Vader, trained in the dark side from childhood. His unique lightsaber design reflects his brutal and aggressive fighting style, incorporating elements from Sith and Jedi teachings. Unlike traditional Sith lightsabers, his featured an exposed kyber crystal chamber, symbolizing his unrefined yet powerful nature.
Throughout The Force Unleashed, Starkiller wielded multiple lightsabers as he battled Jedi and ultimately sought redemption. His journey from Vader’s enforcer to a hero of the Rebellion solidified his place as one of the most compelling characters in Star Wars legends. The Starkiller V2 variant is one of the most iconic interpretations of his weapon, embodying his raw power and inner conflict.
